If you are
interested in working in my group at any level (as undergraduates,
graduates or post doctoral fellows, PDFs) please
contact me directly and provide an up to date CV and a statement of
your research interests.
I am looking for individuals with a strong academic record and who are
interested in exploratory interdisciplinary research.
Experience in instrumentation (AFM, Fluorescence and Confocal
Microscopy, Digital Signal Processing), computation, tissue culture
and/or molecular biology is a real plus. However, a strong motivation to
learn and being comfortable training in new disciplines is the most
important.
Potential graduate students (MSc/PhD) should consult the Department of
Physics Graduate Studies
webpage for information on how to apply, prerequisites, tuition and
salary. Although funding is available
for graduate students, all individuals should consult the "Awards
and Scholarships" page to ensure they have applied for any
appropriate
awards.
Although some funding is available for PDFs, interested parties are strongly
encouraged to apply for external fellowships. There are many
opportunities for strong candidates which can be found
here.
